Iran Expands Crackdown on Alleged Collaborators, Seizes Hundreds of Assets

June 10, 2026

Iranian authorities have intensified legal action against individuals accused of collaborating with the United States and Israel or maintaining ties with foreign-based media. On 9 June, judicial officials announced new prosecutions, additional property seizures, and the discovery of equipment allegedly used to support Israeli military operations inside Iran.

The head of the justice department in southern Fars Province said legal proceedings had been launched against more than 20 members of Gard-e Javidan, a clandestine network linked to supporters of exiled former crown prince Reza Pahlavi. Authorities said 13 properties connected to the defendants had been identified and confiscated.

The judiciary also reported the seizure of another property belonging to former football star and outspoken monarchist Ali Karimi. The confiscated asset is a three-storey villa in northern Iran. Earlier in May, authorities had already seized six commercial and residential properties registered in the name of Karimi’s son.

According to Judiciary Spokesman Asghar Jahangir, officials have so far identified and confiscated 200 assets belonging to individuals described by the authorities as “traitors.”

Separately, Iranian media reported that security forces had discovered and seized technical equipment and ground-based systems in Mazandaran Province that were allegedly used to support and guide Israeli fighter jets during strikes targeting Tehran and northern regions of the country.

The measures form part of a broader campaign launched after the recent conflict, targeting suspected collaborators and opposition-linked networks. Further prosecutions and asset seizures are likely as investigations continue.
